The Roast of Dashaun "Jiwe" Morris

On Sept. 19, 2015, an event was held a the Source of Knowledge bookstore at Newark, New Jersey. It was a Roast event for author Dashaun "Jiwe" Morris. He turn his live around after all his trouble with the law and became an urban author and got famous for it. His new book is autobiography called "Don't let my tears fool you: The War is On." His friend, family and the roasters was there including Malcolm X's daughter Ilyasah Shabazz.
